The doctor was just here. Frustrating wait – really no new news, so all speculation.
A second test confirms her bone marrow is completely shut down. A secondary sign that the blood is not reacting or producing anything.
But, also one more test came up negative for signs of leukemia.
Starting to look closely at aplastic anemia.
The great news for us is that until the diagnosis, he just can’t start any treatments, and feel as long as we’re extremely careful we can go home today and wait until the diagnosis on Tuesday morning.
So, we’re waiting to be discharged (which will take a long time no doubt!).
Very happy to be heading home.
